Thoughts on Culinary Symposium dates 2010

It's been requested that we look at earlier in November for next year's date. To go earlier we'd need to be the first weekend, November 5-7th, 2010 and it looks like the only AnTir conflict so far is a potential Crown Council.  However, In the West, next year's calendar isn't up yet, but this year that weekend is Cynagua / Mists War. In Caid, I couldn't find next year's calendar but on this year's that weekend is Coronation. 

Any suggestions or thoughts on what might work better for people? I won't really start things rolling until after this years Symposium, but I wanted to start thinking about everyone's calendars if we want to make this workable for people outside of AnTir as well.

The Fall Crown Council date for 2010 is Nov 12-14, so Nov 5-7 is not a conflict (there is one feast on that weekend in Aquaterra, though. That might be a problem). If the Aquaterra date is a problem, that takes you to the third weekend in November again.

The weekend befor is Halloween weekend, which has it's own problems.

But there is nothing on Oct 22, 23 & 24 on the An Tir Calendar so far.

I'll talk with Aquaterra this weekend when I'm up there for Sergeantry trials. I'll also be in contact with their Culinary peeps as it would have the biggest impact on them.

With this much warning they might consider moving the date. It certainly dosen't hurt to ask. :)

What would be your preference? I think it would be awesome to have you and Morgaine both there again with pottery!

I personally would prefer the Nov 5-7. I like to avoid events close to Thankgiving as much as possible (although I am participating in the Ithra at Wyewood the weekend before this year).

Where is the information for this year's?

Conflicting with Cynagua/Mist War wouldn't be a problem for me.

I've been trying to get information on this year's symposium but it's just not yet available, unfortunately. I know it's getting super late for travel plans, etc. so I'm hoping we hear something this week.

Awesome, If we want people to come from further than just AnTir, I want to be sure we're not conflicting with anything that would prevent that.
