Anyone going to DL Yule from Olympia?

I have a friend who is going to Dragon Lair's Yule to compete in the Bardic competition. He's not supposed to be driving in the dark and it's his understanding that he needs to be there by 8 AM. He's a great guy, named Vincent of Venice from Casa di Maschera e Musica (the house of masks and music)who plays the harp. I'm just worried about him driving with limited vision to be there on time.

I would offer to drive him to keep him safe, but I've already promised to carpool with friends from Northgate.
