"At a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, on election days 2002, nurses went into the room of a 72-year-old woman to prepare her for open-heart surgery, only to find the woman wasn't there. Instead they found a note which read, "Gone to vote, back in 30 minutes."
An election official later confirmed an elderly woman with IVs coming out of her arms indeed come in to vote."
