Boar’s Hunt thank you’s
Jun. 20th, 2006 01:57 pmFor any who were at the dinner Saturday night, or enjoyed the leftovers on Sunday; if you enjoyed the humble offerings of Venetian repast please take a moment to help me thank those who helped make it possible.
House Rambling Rose was there in force and three of their members (four including the glorious and adorable Sophia) stayed with me all day, and into the night. They helped with prep, cooking, presentation, cleanup, everything I could possible need and more.
Thank you Alessandra di Biagio Batista and Joey. Your effervescence, experience, help and perseverance brightened my day. You made things work that otherwise would have been a lost cause. Your impromptu apricot sauce was divine. Thank you for cheering me on through the week, and being a rock through the storm.
Vincent of Venice, of Casa di Maschera e Musica ( House of Mask & Music ) drove all the way up from Shelton for the sole purpose of being there to support me. Although his sweet and charming lady wife Tiuu couldn’t make it she sent him in her stead, and was there in spirit. Thank you both. Your support, hard work and sweet harp serenades helped keep me (relatively) sane.
Fiamma the Unquenchable, thank you for letting me call/ e-mail you in a panic (on several occasions during the week proceeding the event). I also thank you for giving me the tools and guidance needed to do this, as well as the boot to the butt to volunteer in the first place.
Percival and Elsbeth, thank you both for having faith in me and letting me sleep in the nice, dry hall (and the gift of that spiffy plaque). This has been one of my most memorable Boar’s Hunt ever, and you made it a success.
I will be posting something to the reeds once I have the actual spelling of names, etc.
